What is Ritual?

Before (regular AI, like ChatGPT):
Imagine you have a robot judge. It sits in a locked room in the office of one big company.
You send it a question, it thinks, and makes a decision. But you can't see how it thinks.
The company could secretly program it to rule in its own favor.
Now (with Ritual):
Ritual takes this robot judge out of the locked room and places it in a huge public square,
surrounded by thousands of independent observers (computers all over the world).
The Essence of Ritual's Activity:
They are building a public and verifiable "brain network" for the blockchain. Any application
(finance, gaming, social media) can ask the AI a question and get an answer you can be 100% confident in,
because it is overseen by thousands of independent participants, and the result is recorded in a
transparent digital ledger for all to see.
How it works with an example:
1. Question: Should we give this customer a discount?
2. Process: Your question is received not by one robot in a secret room, but by that very "robot in the square." Thousands of computers in the Ritual network jointly run its algorithms to compute the answer.
3. Result: They arrive at a single answer, for example, "Yes, a 10% discount."
4. The Key Part: Each computer records this conclusion on the blockchain (like in a public, tamper-proof digital ledger). Now no one can hide or change this decision. Everyone sees that the robot said "10%," and knows that no one forced it to lie.
